How We Coach

Play – Practice – Play

Every PSC session is built around one truth: players learn best by playing. We balance technical drills with real game situations so players can apply what they’re learning right away.

Technical work, positional concepts, spacing, and decision-making are coached in context — the way they show up in a game.

The focus is on individual skills and team play — dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, and learning how to compete as one.

There are no traditional tryouts. Players are placed on teams following registration, with placement based on age group and evaluation by coaching staff. Note that registration does not guarantee a roster spot — team sizes are limited by league standards.

How are coaches qualified?

What is expected of parents on the sideline?

PSC’s sideline culture is positive and encouraging for all players, coaches, and officials. We ask parents to cheer, support, and trust the coaches to coach. Giving players the freedom to make their own decisions and learn from their mistakes is one of the most valuable things a parent can do at this age. Coaches are available on TeamSnap to answer any questions you have throughout the season. Please wait 24 hours after a game to contact coaches, and use TeamSnap private messaging.
